Make a Difference! Get Involved Today!
By volunteering your time and talent to support the annual UBC United Way Campaign, you are creating lasting, positive experiences for our campus community and beyond.
Campaign Champions are the ambassadors of the UBC United Way Campaign. You will help raise awareness and represent United Way to your colleagues.
The Campaign Champion position is a volunteer role. Time commitment varies depending on the time of year.
In the past Campaign Champions have contributed by:
- Booking a United Way Impact Speaker for a Team Meeting
- Spreading Communications through emails, posters or newsletters
- Organize a raffle for United Way contributors
- Lead a Trivia Night, Wine Survivor, Scavenger Hunt, Bingo or other activity
- Plan a Pet Photo Contest
- Shared Posts on Social Media
Campaign Champions can shape their contribution to their own time, interests and abilities. Most of the planning and execution happens in the fall. There may be a few workshops and strategy meetings planned at other times.
The Campaign Office will provide support and each unit will have an assigned Campaign Associate to provide additional planning support during the campaign.
