The 34th Annual British Columbia Japanese Speech Contest is open to British Columbia and Yukon residents who speak Japanese as a foreign or second language.
The Contest will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2022, 12pm – 5 pm (PST) at the Asian Centre, University of British Columbia, Vancouver Campus.
Please note that due to safety concern, the event will be offered in a reduced in-person format.
Attendance is only limited to contestants, judges and organizers. However, the event will be live-streamed through YouTube Live for the public to view. Set a reminder on YouTube to get notified when the contest goes live: https://youtu.be/SqXwCw3fyXI.
The program will be available before the event day on the website of the Consulate General of Japan.
