Cantonese popular culture and performance workshop featuring Anson Kong of Hong Kong ViuTV




On December 2, 2022, the Cantonese Language Program hosted a popular culture and performance workshop featuring Anson Kong (江𤒹生), the vice-captain of Hong Kong’s popular Cantopop boy group, Mirror, along with the ViuTV crew during their Vancouver auditions for their top-rating TV show King Maker (全民造星) Season 5.

At the event, Mr. Kong dedicated time to connect with students from the Cantonese Language Program, watching their singing and dancing performances and providing them with encouraging reviews. Additionally, he shared valuable advice and tips for performing on stage.
