Cristine Estrada joins UBC as Procurement Sourcing Manager

We are pleased to welcome Cristine Estrada to UBC’s Financial Operations group as the Procurement Sourcing Manager, effective March 21, 2022.

Reporting to Shelly Morrison, Senior Director, Financial Services & Strategic Procurement, Cristine will play a vital role in leading the Procurement Sourcing team to support our community in meeting their needs through the competitive bidding process, leveraging Bonfire and Workday processes. 

Cristine comes to us with over 15 years of experience in Procurement and Sourcing.  She is joining us from BC Lottery Corporation where she held the role of Procurement Operations Manager, leading a team to support BCLC’s procurement needs as they worked with procurement systems such as SAP, Ivalua, Bonfire, and Service Now. In her role, she had the opportunity to serve as the procurement operations lead on several process improvement and systems upgrade projects. 

Cristine is a Certified Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) with leadership experience in the public sector.
