In order to enhance our technical expertise in civil engineering, asset stewardship and fleet management, UBC Facilities’ Municipal Services is pleased to welcome Rishi Purohit, Fleet and Asset Manager.
Rishi Purohit joins Municipal Services from Securiguard Services, where he was the Fleet Manager for British Columbia, Alberta and Ontario, supporting various private and public sector organizations and leading Securiguard’s electric vehicle project and driver training program.
With extensive experience in holistic fleet management from strategic decision-making to vehicle maintenance, Rishi will be well positioned to oversee Fleet and Garge and support as Municipal Services’ Planon super user.
Rishi holds a Bachelor’s in Engineering, specializing in IT and a Master’s in Administrative Science.
Thank you to Tamas Weidner for his strong leadership and oversight of the Garage! As of January 3, Tamas will focus on operational improvements and priorities that support the Waste Management team and Climate Action Plan 2030, while Rishi will oversee Fleet and the Garage.
