
Spotlight: Apply for the faculty emerging leaders program
Develop your leadership skills through the Faculty of Medicine Faculty Emerging Leaders Program (FELP), and apply to join the 2026 cohort by Monday, Nov. 3.
FELP provides faculty with the opportunity to develop key leadership skills and prepare for future leadership roles within the academic environment. The program features six modules held over six months, from January to June, 2026. Four modules will be delivered virtually, with the first and final modules delivered in person in Vancouver.

UBC Library collections changes: Sage & the Public Library of Science Journals NEW
UBC Library has announced upcoming changes to its collections for UBC Vancouver and UBC Okanagan.
Effective Dec. 31, 2025, UBC Library will end its ‘all titles’ subscription agreement with the publisher Sage, changing how library users access some Sage titles moving forward.
The library has also announced changes to its publishing agreement with the Public Library of Science (PLOS).
