Building your self care plan for an emergency
It can be helpful to create a self care plan for your emotional well-being in advance of a disaster or emergency. Anticipating, monitoring and understanding your own and your loved ones’ reactions will help during an emergency. Ask yourself questions like how do you recognize when you're stressed, how do you cope with stress, how do you decompress? Visit the Government of Canada website for more ideas.
