Emergency tip: Grab-and-go bag
In the event of an emergency, you may need to leave your home in a hurry. Make sure to have a smaller version of your home emergency kit in an easy-to-access location in your home.
A Grab-and-go bag should have the following items:
- Food (ready to eat) and water
- Phone charger and battery bank
- Small battery-powered or hand-crank radio
- Flashlight
- Small first-aid kit and personal medications
- Cash in small bills
- Seasonal clothing
- Whistle
