CIHR Fall 2025 PROJECT GRANT INTERNAL TIMELINES
UBC Office of Research Services has set internal timelines for submissions of the CIHR Fall 2025 Project Grant competition.
The registration deadline for the competition is August 13, 2025.
For applications involving private sector partners, please submit the application to the Faculty of Medicine for review by August 28 and upload the e-submission by September 2 for institutional review.
For applications without private sector partner, please submit the application to the Faculty of Medicine for review by September 2 and upload the e-submission by September 9 for institutional review.

CIHR Reviewer in Training (RiT) program
The RiT program offers early career researchers (ECRs) a learning opportunity to gain a better understanding of the elements of high-quality review and the peer review process through participation in the Project Grant competition. ECRs in the RiT program can participate in one of two roles: Mentee or ECR Reviewer. The application process is now open and closes on August 6.
