We have classes that still have spots and are open for registration! These classes include PAIRS Project (monthly workshop), QiGong (Tuesdays at 4:30 PM), in-person Intergenerational Ballroom Dance (Wednesdays at 12:30 PM), and more!

If there is no room in a class you are interested in attending, please sign-up on the waitlist. Dialogue on Healthy Aging: The Health of Canadians in the Climate Emergency: What Can You Do?
Thursday, September 11 from 1:30 - 3:00 PM in-person at the BMO Great Hall, VanDusen Botanical Garden

Dr. Tim Takaro from SFU will examine the climate emergency through the experience of a physician-scientist who's career has focused on the health impacts of climate change. Dr. Takaro will describe the stiff political resistance to overwhelming evidence presented by scientists from around the world, that Canada must stop building new fossil energy infrastructure, rapidly transition our energy production to renewables, and turn to a future where societal well-being, not fossil energy profits carries us into the future.
