World Brain Day 2024 - Brain Health and Prevention: Protecting our Future
Wednesday, July 24 from noon to 2:00 pm - In Person and Online

The BC Brain Wellness Program invites you to join our annual celebration of World Brain Day. The World Federation of Neurology has selected the theme "Brain Health and Prevention” for this year, which aligns with our vision and mission at the BCBWP. Join Dr. Silke Appel-Cresswell, Cynthia Friesen, and Tara Gaertner as they share their expertise regarding brain health, lifestyle, music, and research, as we explore how we can protect our future.

This event will be offered online on Zoom and in person in the lower auditorium of Djavad Mowafaghian Centre for Brain Health on UBC Vancouver Campus. (Address: 2215 Wesbrook Mall). Register for your attendance preference below.

Leong Centre for Healthy Aging and Djavad Mowafaghian Centre for Brain Health at UBC are pleased to announce a call for submissions to the Healthy Aging Visual Art Prize. This contest invites artists from across British Columbia to submit their visual representations of "Healthy Human Aging." Whether you're an artist or simply passionate about promoting health and wellbeing in older adults, we want to hear from you!
