In recent years, many Hong Kong immigrants who had chosen to move back to Hong Kong following its handover to China in 1997 have decided, once again, to settle in Canada. In this forum, a number of such “re-returnees” will share their experiences—stories that would not only help shed light on the current conditions of Hong Kong but also offer insights on the impacts of this migration pattern on Canadian society.
This forum is organized by the Vancouver Hong Kong Forum Society and co-presented by the Hong Kong Studies Initiative and the Royal Bank of Canada
