The South Asian Health Research Collaborative (SAHRC)

The South Asian Health Research Collaborative (SAHRC) was formed to address an identified gap in representation from the South Asian (SA) community in Canadian health research studies. Beginning with a community centered priority setting process, SAHRC is now striving to link researchers, health stakeholders, and SA community members with the goal to enhance inclusion and improve engagement of South Asians in health research. In addition, SAHRC offers to serve as a hub for sharing best practices, developing equitable and inclusive methods for engaging South Asians in health research, and addressing the diversity present in the South Asian diaspora. You can find out more about their work and upcoming events at www.sahrcbc.org or reach out to them directly for further inquiries at sahrcbc@gmail.com.
