
DISTINGUISHED UNIVERSITY SCHOLAR (dus) - FACULTY OF MEDICINE INTERNAL SELECTION
The Office of the Provost and VP Academic has launched the call for the Distinguished University Scholar Program. This program recognizes exceptional members of faculty who have distinguished themselves as scholars in research and/or teaching and learning, or who have the potential to demonstrate such leadership. The Faculty of Medicine is seeking its strongest 3 candidates to be nominated for this award.
Faculty members are invited to nominate a colleague or self-nominate by 5:00 pm on Wednesday, July 23, 2025. Details on nomination package can be found on the award webpage.

Engage in reconcili-ACTION: host an Indigenous student this summer!
seed2STEM is a unique summer reserach program for Indigenous high school students created as a way to address underrepresentation of Indigenous people in STEM fields, and encourage Indigenous youth to consider STEM education and careers. The program offers paid 6-week internships with wraparound supports.
