Music & Wellness - Music Care Conference

The 14th Annual Canadian Music Care Conference, bringing together community members interested in music and care.

Presented by the Room 217 Foundation in partnership with BC Brain Wellness, Music Therapy Association of British Columbia, Vancouver Symphony, Vancouver Adapted Music Society & UBC School of Music.

Educational & Inspirational, this conference identifies & integrates common themes & issues using music across the care spectrum & the social implications of music in care.

Featuring a musical performance by Music Canada’s 2022 Humanitarian Juno Award winner @SusanAglukark. Susan is a beautiful singer, powerful songwriter & motivational speaker. She brings her lifetime awards & accomplishments with her discovery of history, culture & self.

Community Events 

Parkinson Society British Columbia invites you to join them for their provincial conference, Moving Forward, Together (MFT), on Saturday, October 15^th at the Radisson Hotel Vancouver Airport.

Their in-person provincial conference aims to foster an educational and inspirational space to enrich connections between people with Parkinson's, carepartners, friends, and healthcare professionals. Featuring prominent local and national presenters, Moving Forward, Together will offer a diversified agenda.

The UNA runs recreation programs every season for children, youth and adults/seniors. Right now, they are featuring a women’s 55+ Osteofit classes, a Chair Yoga class and a Gentle Yoga class. Click on the links to learn more and to register.
