Program Highlights
BC Brain Wellness Program One-on-One Kinesiology Service 

The BC Brain Wellness Program is now offering one-on-one kinesiology services. These sessions will be offered both in-person at our gym at UBC Vancouver, and virtually over video call by a registered kinesiologist. The following services can be provided through these one-on-one sessions:

* Personal training and fitness conditioning *
* Injury assessments and active rehabilitation *
* Movement/postural analysis and corrective exercise prescription *
* Correction of dysfunctional movement patterns *
* Functional assessments and exercises to address pain *

New Breakthroughs in Neurorehabilitation - A Free Forum for People with Lived Experience
The World Congress of Neurorehabilitation is pleased to present a free afternoon forum for people with lived experience at the Vancouver Convention Centre. The session will also be accessible via livestream. People living with a neurological condition such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis or spinal cord injury may find this forum of interest. Family and carers, and supporting non-profit organizations are also welcome. Registration is required. World experts will describe the latest research that has the potential to impact care for people living with neurological conditions. Our clinicians will also discuss strategies to improve physical and mental health, and to lessen the effects of aging with a chronic health condition.

When: Wednesday, 22 May 2024 at 1:00–4:00 pm
Where: Vancouver Convention Centre (East building), Meeting Room 19&20
