BCBWP Crafters for a Cause - Feeling Good By Doing Good

Last week, the Crafters for a Cause group collectively donated hand made items for Mamas for Mamas  (https://www.mamasformamas.org/). Mamas for Mamas is a national charitable organization that supports mothers and caregivers in crisis by providing ongoing support to individuals and families facing various poverty-related struggles. Our group members individually crafted and collectively donated a wide variety of items including knit hats, slippers and blankets, quilted blankets, craft kits for kids, pottery, stuffed animals, tote bags, beaded bracelets, and many other items to bring joy!

The next project beginning in the fall will be working the Tertiary Mental Health and Substance Use in patient units at VGH. If you have any yarn you would like to donate to our projects or would like to get involved, join our September meeting (registration with the BWP fall program launch) or email elaine.book@vch.ca.
