Research Seminar Series: The Cycle of Sleep, Stress and Cognitive Health in Everyday Life
Wednesday, November 20, 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm
This is a hybrid event held at the Djavad Mowafaghian Centre for Brain Health and virtually on Zoom.
In this session, Dr. Nancy Sin and Nicole Stuart will share their lab’s research on the role of psychological factors and health behaviours in cognitive health. Their lab uses naturalistic methods – including wearable health monitors, saliva sampling, and mobile surveys — to track health, well-being, and experiences as they unfold in real-time. Their research has revealed reciprocal relationships between sleep and stress in daily life, in addition to links between stressors and fluctuations in everyday cognitive functioning. |
