Maximize Your Language Learning: Debut of UBC Arts Multilingual Week 2022

Last month, we celebrated the inaugural Arts Multilingual Week, a one-week celebration from October 31st - November 4th dedicated to how language has shaped our lives. Students explored multilingualism in their own unique way through reflection, cultural exploration, creativity, or forming new perspectives. Not only were students able to demonstrate what multilingualism means to them, but they were also able to connect with others from the multilingual community in a shared celebration and bond.

Submissions Open for the UBC Journal of Historical Studies 2022-2023 Edition

UBC Journal of Historical Studies is a student-run publication that publishes an edition of high quality undergraduate work every year. They are currently looking for students who are interested in submitting their papers for a chance of publication. Submissions are open until December 26.

Partnership Recognition and Exploration (PRE) Fund

Get up to $1,500 for community-university collaboration and relationship building. Every day, people on and off-campus work together on joint initiatives that benefit both the community and UBC. Whether it’s engaged research, experiential learning, planning and policy development, educational programming, dialogue projects, workshops and beyond — our impact grows when we work together. PRE funding is available from July to December 31, OR until available funds are exhausted.
