Rise and Shine Study
The Aging, Mobility, and Cognitive Health lab at UBC is recruiting for a research study focused on improving sleep quality in adults over the age of 55 with chronic stroke.
The study compares two 26-week programs:
- A moderate-intensity exercise training program (cardio and lifting weights), and
- A cognitive and social activity program
The study is looking for adults age 55 above who experienced a stroke at least 1 year ago, and who report poor sleep quality. The study will measure changes in sleep, and also explore the effects on fatigue, mood, cognitive function, daytime sleepiness, cardiometabolic health, and overall quality of life. |
