Fom 2025 seminar series fund - now open

The Faculty of Medicine is pleased to announce the launch of the 2025 Seminar Series Fund. This funding opportunity provides secondary support for interdisciplinary seminars of educational value with up to $1,500 per seminar series.

Only one application per UBC Faculty of Medicine department/school or centre/institute will be accepted. If you are currently seeking additional funding and you have a qualifying series of seminar under these criteria, please visit the Seminar Series Fund page and submit your application online by August 25, 11:59 p.m. PT.

CIHR Reviewer in Training (RiT) program NEW
The RiT program offers Early Career Researchers (ECRs) a learning opportunity to gain a better understanding of the elements of high-quality review and the peer review process through participation in the Project Grant competition. ECRs in the RiT program can participate in one of two roles: Mentee or ECR Reviewer. The application process is now open and closes on August 6.
